Purpose

There's a lot of good content out there for the outdoors, but sometimes you don't really know what you're looking for - or you just want someone to surprise you with something and see if you're interested.

Your normal search engines are pretty good at helping you answer questions and finding what you're looking for, but they're not always great for just browsing around. Hopefully this little experiment does just that, and let's you wander around this corner of the internet.

We're also intentionally including a random mix of both old and new content. There's lots of good stories out there that we might not otherwise see, since publications don't always promote them the same way they do with new articles.
